X-Rays & Ultrasonography

X-rays
Digital radiography decreases your pet's exposure to radiation and eliminates the need for x-ray film and developing time.
Should your pet someday require an x-ray, the digital image can be displayed on the computer monitor in any of our 6 exam rooms such that the Doctor may review the x-ray findings with you.
Ultrasonography
Ultrasound imaging uses high-frequency sound waves to generate images of a pet's internal organ(s). Ultrasonography has the added benefit that it does not use radiation and images are captured in real-time, meaning they can illustrate the functioning of internal organs and blood flow.
Ultrasonography is non-invasive and provides us with an additional tool in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
