A complete physical examination is vital to your pet's well being and the early detection and treatment of underlying diseases or conditions. Following each check-up, you will be provided a Report Card summarizing the Doctor's findings.
Once your pet becomes a "Senior" (7-8 years of age), we recommend a complete physical examination every 6 months. In a senior pet, six months represents 3-5 human years, during which a great deal can change.
Prior to vaccinating, the Doctor will need to make certain your pet is healthy and does not have an elevated body temperature, or other underlying symptoms of illness. Some vaccines can be administered every 3 years, whereas others still require an annual booster to remain protective.
Puppies and kittens are initially vaccinated at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks of age.
