What is the cure for arthritis?

There is no cure for arthritis, but we can maintain a high quality of life for your pet with early diagnosis and proper care. This is why regular checkups are so important for senior pets, as they are more vulnerable to developing arthritis and other chronic conditions.

Can I prevent my pet from getting arthritis?

The answer is both yes and no. Some pets are genetically predisposed to developing arthritis (e.g. larger dog breeds.) That being said, certain lifestyle factors put other canine pals at higher risk. For example, sporting or hunting dogs experience more wear and tear. This puts them at added risk of developing arthritis. Taking extra care with them, ensuring they get more frequent checkups, and considering supplements and certain therapies can reduce the lifelong strain on their joints.
